The Class of 1974
Charlotte Latin School hosted its first-ever fifty-year reunion, hosting members of its first graduating class. They were living witnesses to the campus’s growth from two modest buildings to more than a dozen state-of-the-art facilities for academics, arts, and athletics on a 128-acre campus. From the remarks by Head of School Chuck Baldecchi to the class of 1974:
Our curriculum has expanded and features 21st century innovation, but our school is built on a foundation of honor and community and love of learning. That foundation was laid down by you and your families and the pioneering teachers who committed to this school. You believed in the possibility of something extraordinary where nothing had existed before and everyone at Latin now is in your debt.
